Why we built Sharebrand

We were running an agency and every file sharing tool forced our clients to see someone else's brand. This is why we decided to build something different.

The problem

In 2024, we started thinking seriously about client file sharing. At our agency we were delivering designs, documents, and assets to clients across multiple industries. The tools available made no sense for what we were actually doing.

We needed to appear professional. We needed our brand on the delivery page, not Box, not Dropbox, not WeTransfer. Our clients should see our logo, our domain, our colors. But every tool we tried forced us to compromise.

The alternative was messy. Email attachments that bounced. Shared Dropbox links that exposed our internal folder structure. Google Drive links that required client Google accounts. Screenshots of "file sent successfully" messages. No tracking, no security, no control.

There was no middle ground: professional white-label file sharing without the enterprise price tag or complexity.

The real problems we kept running into

Brand confusion. Clients click a link and land on "WeTransfer" or "Dropbox" — not our agency. They wonder if it's legitimate. Trust erodes before they even download the file.

No control. Once the file is sent, we have no idea if they downloaded it, when they accessed it, or if the link is still secure. We just hope it worked.

Security gaps. Shared links stay active forever. Anyone with the URL can access files. No password protection, no expiration, no download limits. Just hope the wrong person doesn't get the link.

Terrible client experience. Clients get generic emails from third-party services. They see logos and branding from companies they don't recognize. The whole experience screams "we don't have our act together."

These are not storage problems. They are branding and control problems. No platform was solving that specifically for client-facing businesses.

What we're building and what makes it different

Your brand, not ours. Every file delivery page shows your logo, your domain, your colors. Clients see you, not Sharebrand. You own the relationship.

Built for client-facing teams. Agencies, consultants, freelancers, law firms, advisors — any business that delivers files to clients and wants to look professional doing it.

Security and control. Password-protected links, expiration dates, download limits, detailed tracking. You know exactly who accessed what and when.

Simple, transparent pricing. No per-transfer fees. No surprise charges. No "contact sales" — just straightforward pricing that scales with your business.

Where we are now

We decided to build Sharebrand in 2024, based on our own frustrations delivering files to clients. We're now part of the Tarkle family, which gives us the infrastructure and resources to ship features quickly.

We're actively growing and iterating. The platform is available now and we're onboarding teams that need white-label file sharing: agencies, consultants, freelancers, and any business that wants to look professional when delivering files to clients.

If you're tired of generic file sharing tools that make you look unprofessional, Sharebrand is built for exactly your situation.
