Sharebrand has a new home
Sharebrand started as Cloudbrand and lived at sharebrand.io. Today we move to sharebrand.com — and here is why that matters.

We started this product under the name Cloudbrand. It was a working name, built fast, and it served its purpose while we figured out what we were actually building. When we knew what it was — a white-label file sharing platform for agencies and client-facing businesses — we renamed it Sharebrand. The name fit. The domain did not.
For a while, Sharebrand lived at sharebrand.io. The .io extension is common enough in software, and we used it without much friction. But .io was never the plan. It was a placeholder we kept longer than we intended.
The .com matters more than people admit. For a product that sells on professionalism — that tells agencies their clients will trust the experience, that their brand will look credible in a file link — running on anything other than the .com sends a quiet, conflicting signal. If we are asking businesses to trust us with their client relationships, we should at least own the address that signals we are serious.
What we did about it
We acquired sharebrand.com. Not rented it, not leased it under an arrangement that could unwind — acquired it outright. It was a significant financial commitment, and we made it deliberately. The .com is now ours permanently.
As of today, sharebrand.com is the home of everything: the marketing site, the blog, the help center, and all product communication. If you have bookmarked sharebrand.io for the homepage, it redirects automatically. Nothing breaks.
What changes for your workspace
Your workspace subdomain is moving from sharebrand.app to sharebrand.io. If your workspace was previously at yourname.sharebrand.app, it now lives at yourname.sharebrand.io. Both addresses work during the transition, but .io is the permanent home for workspaces going forward.
System emails — file share notifications, account alerts, password resets — now come from the sharebrand.com domain. If you have any email filters pointing to our old sending domain, update them so you do not miss anything.
Why we are telling you this in detail
Because if you run an agency and you deliver client work through Sharebrand, infrastructure changes affect you. Your clients receive file links. Some of those links are saved, bookmarked, or embedded in client communications. You deserve to know exactly what changed and why, not just receive a notification that something moved.
The short version: sharebrand.com is now the permanent address for everything. The product is the same. The team is the same. We just finally own the address that reflects how seriously we take this.
