Dofollow - Nofollow link checker

Enter any URL to scan all external links on the page and see whether each one passes SEO value.

What this tool checks

Every link on a webpage carries a rel attribute that tells search engines how to treat it. This tool fetches the page you enter, parses every external link, and categorises it by its rel value. You get a full picture of the link profile in seconds, with no account or installation required.

Link types

Dofollow

No rel restriction. Search engines follow it and pass ranking value to the linked page. The default for any unmarked link.

Nofollow

Marked rel="nofollow". Google treats it as a hint — it may still pass some value. Common in comments and press releases.

Sponsored

Marked rel="sponsored". Identifies paid placements and affiliate links. Treated as a nofollow hint for ranking.

UGC

Marked rel="ugc". Used on forum posts and community content. Also treated as a nofollow hint.

Why check your link profile

If you are building links to improve search rankings, knowing whether each link is dofollow or nofollow tells you which ones are actually contributing to your authority. If a site promised you a dofollow link and delivered a nofollow instead, this tool will surface that immediately.

For competitor analysis, scanning a competitor's page reveals where they are sending link equity, which can surface opportunities you had not considered.
